Pay Direct Drug Card
Everyone appreciates the convenience of a pay direct prescription drug plan. By using BlueNet®, members are able to fill prescriptions without having to pay first and sending in their receipt for reimbursement. Members will know immediately whether a particular drug is covered under their plan and how much the plan pays.
BlueNet is available at participating pharmacies from 7am to midnight, seven days a week.
How it works
When filling prescriptions, members simply present their Pacific Blue Cross ID cards to the pharmacist. If a member has BlueNet Pay Direct Drugs coverage, this will be indicated on the bottom left of their ID card. The pharmacist fills the prescription and electronically sends the claim to Pacific Blue Cross. Pacific Blue Cross adjudicates the claim immediately and notifies the pharmacist what portion of the cost of the plan will pay. Built-in security features protect member confidentiality at all times.
